Resolve a per-node Points material from materialManager, then apply
the colormap directly when scalars + a non-null colormap are requested.
Point materials are PER NODE (each carries the node's own
uPointTex), so the colormap applies directly to the node-owned
material — the historical clone-on-divergence dance is gone (mirrors
createGSplatsNode).
attrs is the COMPOSED effective attrs (points passes the composed attrs
as its sole attrs param — see load-points-node.ts). leafAttrs is the
node's RAW uncomposed attrs, needed only to decide whether an authored
gain is a leaf-authored scalar window or an inherited ancestor gain (see
resolveColormapWindow); it defaults to attrs, which is exactly right
whenever no ancestor authored a gain.
