Kept finite because orbit math degenerates as the target distance
approaches zero.
Coupled to MAX_NEAR_FAR_RATIO in clipping/bounds-math.ts: at
maximum zoom-in the near-plane floor (far / MAX_NEAR_FAR_RATIO) must sit in
front of the orbit target, which is what pins that ratio's lower
bound. Loosening this factor without re-deriving that one would clip
whatever the user zoomed in on.
