    Interface PointTexelSource

    The per-point arrays the texel writer consumes — all ALREADY-WIDENED Float32 (see the module header; dtype normalization and fallback fills happen at the call sites, exactly as the interleaved era did).

    interface PointTexelSource {
        positions: Float32Array;
        colors: Float32Array;
        colorComponents?: 3 | 4;
        radii: Float32Array;
        sharpness: Float32Array;
        scalars?: Float32Array<ArrayBufferLike>;
    }
    Index
    positions: Float32Array

    Point centers (count × 3).

    colors: Float32Array

    Colors RGB or RGBA (count × colorComponents).

    colorComponents?: 3 | 4

    Components per color item: 3 = RGB (default), 4 = RGBA — the alpha column is per-point opacity, packed into texel2.y. Mirrors SplatTexelSource.colorComponents.

    radii: Float32Array

    Radii (count).

    sharpness: Float32Array

    Sharpness knobs (count).

    scalars?: Float32Array<ArrayBufferLike>

    Colormap scalars (count). Absent ⇒ texel2.x is written 0.0 (the no-scalar identity — written unconditionally so a reused pool texture never leaks a previous tenant's scalars).
