    Interface PendingProbe

    Snapshot taken when a scale-down is applied.

    DPR before the scale-down (revert target on rejection).

    previousFPS: number

    FPS baseline measured at decision time.

    probedDPR: number

    DPR the scale-down moved to.

    startTime: number

    Timestamp the probe was armed.

    contentConfounded?: boolean

    True once a scene-content change has run through this probe's measurement window (set by markContentConfounded). The baseline was measured on the OLD content and the settle sample on the NEW one, so the before/after comparison is CONFOUNDED: it says nothing about what the DPR change did. The caller must not act on the direction of such a verdict — see AdaptiveDPRManager.applyConfoundedVerdict, which keeps the reduction and learns nothing.
