Route an authored-opacity edit (Layers panel, layer exposure) through a live
LOD fade: when obj carries a fade snapshot (_lodFadeBase), rebase it to
base AND redraw the uniform at base × the product last applied, instead
of writing base straight into a uniform that holds base × product.
Rebasing the snapshot alone relied on a per-frame recompose, which only a
LOD-group child gets (the registry re-applies every frame). A node thinned
by the density guard is compensated too (base / keep) but re-applied only
when its keep steps, so the edit stayed invisible until the density crossed
a ladder step. A LOD child is simply recomposed again on its next frame.
