• checkIfZarr(url: string): Promise<boolean>

  Check if a path is a Zarr dataset by looking for a root group document.

  Probes BOTH formats' documents concurrently: format 2 writes .zgroup, format 3 writes zarr.json. A dataset has exactly one of them, so probing only .zgroup — which was correct while everything was format 2 — makes every format-3 store fail to register as a dataset and vanish from the browser. Concurrent rather than sequential because these are HEAD requests against a directory listing the user is waiting on, and the miss costs a full round-trip on whichever format is asked second.
